•Romans 1:16• For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
People always ask why I talk about Jesus so much. Its an easy answer.
I am not ashamed of THE
ONE who saved my soul.
He deserves to be talked about and celebrated ALL DAY and EVERYDAY.
If one of your closest friends died for you, you would want to tell everyone what an amazing friend they were and you wouldn't be able to thank them enough. Thats how we should be with Jesus constantly thanking Him, talking about Him and Sharing Him with others every where we go.
Jesus went from Son of God and humbled Himself and became Son of Man.
The King of Kings and Lord of Lords changed His superior status for a lowly one to save you and me and to make a way for us to be with Him throughout eternity.
That is something we should NEVER stop talking about.
Living for Jesus and telling others about Him isn't easy but if the disciples were willing to lay their lives down for Jesus and spend their everyday sharing the gospel. Don't you think we are called to that same responsibility. Don't you think that we should be as willing to risk our reputation for the sake of someone else's salvation.
Why is it that it is so easy for us to talk about every other subject but Him.
Lets reevaluate what living for Jesus really looks like. Lets start being UNASHAMED. Lets start sharing the GOOD NEWS like we won't have another chance to share.
Jesus gives us everything we need and more. He is willing to meet us exactly where we are, no matter where we are. He loves us unconditionally. He comforts us in times of need. He brings peace to our worry and anxiety. He feeds us when we need food and quenches our every thirst. He has offered us the free gift of salvation and a lifetime in heaven instead of hell. I could go on forever. Those are just a few of the zillion trillion things God has given us and yet we don't talk about Him nearly as much as we should and we shrink back at the very thought of Him asking us to share Him with someone.
Ask the Lord to place an unashamed boldness inside of you.
Let Him know how much you love Him today. Thank Him for His goodness today.
He deserves all the praise.
•2 Timothy 1:8•
So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.
